Destroy Escort Vehicles

The Ghosts split up into two Blackhawks, with Kozak and Pepper riding in one while Ghost Lead and 30K board a separate bird. The arms dealer, Katya Prugova, has been tracked racing toward the Pakistan/Afghanistan border. But she’s not alone. She has surrounded herself with armed escorts in the form of GAZ-2330 light vehicles—just like the ones you encountered in Peshawar. This time, you have the firepower necessary to lay waste to these vehicles. While manning the Blackhawk’s door-mounted minigun, open fire on these hostile vehicles. They’re easy spot, thanks to an orange triangular icon that is superimposed over them on the HUD. Take aim and open fire on every hostile vehicle you encounter. However, watch your fire. The bad guys are sharing the road with civilians, so avoid collateral damage whenever possible. There are also enemy troops positioned along the road, some carrying RPGs—these enemies are marked with orange diamond icons on the HUD.

Now comes the tricky part. When you catch up with Prugova’s SUV, you’ll see it is escorted by two GAZ-2330 light vehicles. Start by opening fire on the GAZ-2330 trailing behind the Prugova’s ride. With the rear vehicle destroyed, focus your fire on the GAZ-2330 in the lead. However, hold your fire as the GAZ-2330 slows and travels alongside the target vehicle—you can’t risk destroying Prugova’s SUV. Instead, wait for the light vehicle to fall behind the SUV before resuming your fire. Try to take out both escort vehicles before Prugova’s SUV enters a tunnel.

Shortly after Prugova’s SUV enters the tunnel, your Blackhawk comes under attack by an Mi-24 attack chopper. As soon as the enemy chopper comes into view, open fire on it with the minigun. Don’t worry about collateral damage here. Simply hold down the trigger and continuously pepper the enemy chopper with automatic fire as it flies past from right to left. Following the first past, release the trigger and swing the gun to the left side to reacquire the target. Once again, open fire and score hits on the top of the enemy chopper as it passes beneath your Blackhawk. When the enemy chopper flies out of view, swing the gun to the left again and search for the Mi-24, which should now be trailing black smoke. Finish off the crippled chopper with another aggressive burst of automatic fire.

Once the enemy chopper is down, Ghost Lead’s Blackhawk opens fire on Prugova’s SUV, causing it to flip over at high speed and eventually come to rest near a small roadside settlement. Ghost Lead and 30K will provide fire support from their Blackhawk while Kozak and Pepper secure Prugova … assuming she survived the crash.
