Epilogue

In the concluding cinematic, Ghost Lead, Pepper, 30K, and Kozak gather around a wounded Petrakov lying on the train tracks. But before they can finish the job, Overlord chimes in and orders the Ghosts to hold. In the meantime, Petrakov belligerently mocks the Ghosts, testing Kozak’s patience. Petrakov claims to be protected by the US government. That claim seems to be confirmed when Overlord orders the Ghosts to stand down and take Petrakov alive. But the Ghosts have had enough. They’re not about to let the guy who was responsible for the deaths of their brothers in Nicaragua get away. As ordered by Overlord, they don’t shoot Petrakov. Instead, they let an incoming train do the dirty work for them. Raven’s Rock is now out of commission. Nobody will ever know the true story of what happened in these woods. But that’s business as usual for the Ghosts.
