Secure Arms Shipment at the Airstrip

You’re free to make as much noise as you want now. But it’s safest to proceed quietly, stealthily picking off the remainder of Macaba’s men as you make your way to the outskirts of the refugee camp. Activate the Magnetic view to spot a small group of enemies loitering nearby. Mark all three, then peer off to the right to spot a hostile carrying a LMG on a distant rooftop. Mark him, too. Wait for your team to line up their shots while you take aim at the guy with the LMG. When you have your target in sight, squeeze the trigger to initiate the sync-shot, eliminating all four hostiles in an instant.

Enemy Profile: LMG Soldier

LMG soldiers are heavy, suppressing, medium-range threats. These enemies are mobile, but once they are positioned properly to shoot at your team, they won’t move. When fired at by one of these enemies you may become suppressed, which means you’re prevented from aiming properly for a few seconds, even if you’re behind cover. So always make note of LMG soldiers and take steps to eliminate them before they become aware of your team’s presence. If you come under attack by one of these enemies, stay behind cover and issue a focus fire order on the target. You can also cover swap to avoid getting suppressed, but always wait for the LMG soldier to stop firing before moving. Smoke grenades can block an LMG soldier’s line of sight, giving you and your team a chance to engage him through the smoke using the Magnetic view.

Two more riflemen are blocking your path to the refugee camp’s exit. Using Magnetic view, get a bearing on their positions and mark them. Although there are only two, it’s easiest to perform a sync-shot. When your teammates have a line of sight on both targets, give the shoot order. The refugee camp is now clear. Proceed to the waypoint to reach the rendezvous point with your driver—he’ll take you to the airstrip. Overlord reports that Macaba’s shipment has arrived and is already being unloaded. The plan now is to recover the data recorder from the aircraft to try to determine where it’s been. This the best shot at tracking the shipment back to where it originated. But you need to move fast. That storm is still inbound and the aircraft’s flight crew will probably try to get airborne before it hits.
