Your contact drops you near the entrance to the refugee camp. Hostiles are detected nearby so immediately assume a crouched stance to activate your Optical Camo. Move parallel with the dirt road toward a large tree. Here, you can take cover near a rock and spot four rifleman. Three are standing in a tight group while a fourth patrols a nearby rooftop. Mark all four hostiles, then take aim at the hostile on the rooftop. Wait until he stops his patrol, then put a bullet in his head to initiate the sync-shot. Once the four riflemen are down, follow your team into the refugee camp.

Tactical Challenge: Steely Gaze

The refugee camp is a maze of tents and other temporary shelters. Although the tents offer decent concealment while moving around the camp, they make it difficult to see farther than a few meters. Given the poor visibility, rely on Magnetic view to see through the tents and spot hostiles carrying weapons. This makes it easier to navigate and plan your attacks. Start by sneaking up behind a lone gunman stealing a bag of food from a refugee woman. He’s isolated from his cronies and among civilians, so there’s no reason to open fire and put bystanders at risk. Simply sneak up behind him and perform a stealth kill—the civilians don’t seem to mind your intervention.

Next, locate a pair of thugs standing next to a white SUV. Mark both targets and take aim at one of them. There’s a chance your teammates won’t be able to get a line of sight on one of the targets, so be ready to pick off whichever target your teammates can’t. When both targets are within view and ready to drop, squeeze the trigger to perform another sync-shot. Remember, try to take out targets with the Magnetic view on in order to complete the tactical challenge.

Move past the white SUV and approach another rifleman harassing refugees near a well. Mark the hostile, but hold off on giving the shoot order. Instead, try to sneak up behind him to perform a stealth kill. However, if the hostile turns in your direction, you may be spotted, even with your Optical Camo deployed. So as you near the rifleman by the well, be ready to give the shoot order to your team, just in case the enemy turns around. Even if you think you have a clear path for a stealth kill, always make sure a teammate watches your back during the approach. Your Ghost teammate may have to shoot the hostile before you’re within range to perform the stealth kill.

After clearing out the rifleman by the well, follow your team to a small market area filled with a few stalls covered by a mix of thatch and cloth awnings. Several civilians and two rifleman are in the adjoining courtyard beyond the market. Use Magnetic view to identify the two gunmen in the crowd and mark them both. This time, let your team take out both hostiles. Once your team is in position, give them the shoot order.
