Your party reemerges in Adamant’s main courtyard, spilling out of the rift opened by Erimond and Clarel. The Inquisitor uses the Anchor to close the rift, causing all remaining demons to perish—Adamant is now secure and under the control of the Inquisition. An Inquisition scout reports that Corypheus’s dragon managed to escape but Erimond has been taken alive. The absence of Stroud or Hawke has not gone unnoticed. Respond how you see fit to explain their selfless sacrifice. Next, you must decide the future of the Grey Wardens. Afterward, you’re automatically returned to Skyhold—now that the Warden situation has been resolved it’s time to address the threat to Empress Celene.
Decision Point
Upon your return to Adamant you must decide what will happen to the Grey Wardens. Now that your memories have been restored, it is now clear that the Wardens have been serving Corypheus and are culpable in the tragedy at the Temple of Sacred Ashes. While the Wardens weren’t acting under their own free will at the time, they are prone to corruption by Corypheus. Is this a risk you can afford? Your options are to exile the Wardens from Orlais or to welcome them into the Inquisition. Your party members have strong feelings on this matter, and your decision will have both negative and positive impacts on approval. Make your decision carefully. If you choose to banish the Wardens from Orlais and Blackwall is in your party, you can choose whether he stays with the Inquisition or is exiled with the rest of the Wardens. |
