Dragon Age Inquisition Guide › Behind the Scenes at BioWare

Inquisitors Edition for Dragon Age: Inquisition

Here at TriForce, our goal is to bring gaming to life. We’ve always wanted the chance to jump into the game and live among some of our biggest heroes and cynical foes. That is why TriForce always goes big. We always make sure we stay true to scale and detail so exactly what fans fall in love with on-screen comes shining into our world in its entirety. Living this dream is how the Inquisitor’s set came to life. Both BioWare and TriForce wanted each collector to not just play, but to inherit the Inquisitor title.

TriForce continuously collaborates with developers while creating different full-scale, high-end replicas and premier scale statues. Their work is the true art we all fell in love with. BioWare wanted this collector’s edition to be more than a beautiful art piece to display on a shelf. Together, we worked hand-in-hand developing the specifics for the Inquisitor’s Edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition. The end result presents all roles and responsibilities of the Inquisitor to each player.

  • The Inquisitor’s Edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition includes:
  • Highly detailed exclusive Inquisitor’s Edition case produced by TriForce, each individually wrapped in faux reptile skin with the mark of the Inquisitor stamped on top in gold foil
  • Cloth map of Thedas drawn to scale, measuring approximately 22” x 32”
  • A 72-card Major and Minor Arcana tarot card deck with custom artwork depicting mythology from Dragon Age lore
  • Full-scale, six-piece set of Inquisitor lock tools
  • One set of four full-scale map markers, each measuring approximately 3.5” x 3.5” x 4”
  • Inquisitor’s badge
  • Quill and inkpot
  • Inquisitor’s journal
  • Orlesian coins
  • Limited edition SteelBook case to house your copy of the game

The sole survivor of the Breach, the Inquisitor, is now marked with a raw and mysterious power. This Inquisitor’s Edition is the Inquisitor’s Chest, the equipment each protagonist will use to travel through Thedas and investigate the mystery behind these tears in the Veil.

The collaboration effort between artists from both BioWare and TriForce is what really gave this project life. Back in 2009, BioWare released Dragon Age: Origins, and with it a universe was born. The Dragon Age titles feature dense lore and complex characters, delivering meaningful, memorable tales. Thedas’s overwhelming beauty is exploding with rich, new adventure. The Inquisitor’s Chest symbolizes the start of that exciting journey.

This process sounds much easier than it is. The amount of time, talent, and effort put into a collector’s edition of this stature sometimes seems impossible. However, at TriForce, we thrive on the impossible! The united motivation of the team led to sleepless nights at TriForce HQ. With this dedication, the team was able to hammer out minute details that enable fans to experience the perfection they see today!
