While the Herald of Andraste and the inner circle of heroes gallivant across Thedas in their quest to defeat Corypheus, the Inquisition itself gathers conscripts from all over the continent. These men and women do not possess the mark that the Herald does, they are not as infamous as Leliana and Varric, and they do not have the connections of Vivienne. Compared to the inner circle, the regulars of the Inquisition rely on numbers and luck.
Among these regulars are specialists, sent on the toughest assignments, ones that the average soldier cannot handle. With the odds stacked heavily against them, even these specialists cannot hope to succeed alone. But with allies, they may stand a chance to survive their missions, grow stronger, and serve the Inquisition against threats the Herald cannot personally see to.
