Roaming the Frostback Basin is a deadly band of Hakkonites called the Jaws of Hakkon. They are fierce and ruthless, and plan to release their dangerous god, Hakkon, upon Orlais. It seems that there’s no stopping them, although this isn’t the first time the group has attempted this very same act. Eight hundred years ago the last Inquisitor, Ameridan, ventured into the land of Frostback Basin, home of the Avvar people and the Jaws of Hakkon, to hunt demons. It isn’t clear whether Inquisitor Ameridan was instructed to take on this quest, or perhaps was ordered not to by Emperor Drakon, but he moved to seek out justice and stop evil.
Inquisitor Ameridan disappeared, but the Hakkonites were stopped once, and it’s up to the new Inquisition to find out how and what needs to be done so that the Jaws of Hakkon can be stopped for good. Travel to Frostback Basin and prepare for a great challenge to save the world from a grave threat.
