In the wake of the temple’s destruction, the storied village—which was also home to a dragon-worshiping cult during the Fifth Blight—now serves as a makeshift camp for those working to pick up the pieces.

Nestled in the Frostback Mountains, Haven is the Inquisition’s modest first home. As a makeshift headquarters of the fledgling organization, Haven offers the most basic amenities, run by a dedicated staff of the faithful. Harritt, the blacksmith, does his best to keep the Inquisition armed and protected, while Adan, the alchemist, tinkers with herbs to create health-replenishing potions. Everyone in Haven does their part to make the Inquisition run as smoothly as possible. With the exception of a few tutorial-style quests, Haven serves primarily as a central hub of operations. It’s often necessary to return to Haven to discuss the Inquisition’s next move with the war council—an improvised war room has been established within the village’s chantry. Outside the walls of Haven, rudimentary crafting materials can be found to create basic potions, weapons, and armor—some of these materials can also be used to complete requisitions. When you’re not convening the war council or scouring the snow-covered terrain for crafting materials, engage your followers in conversation. They usually have something to say about the current state of affairs. They may also have some favors to ask of you, unlocking inner circle quests.
