Dragon Age Inquisition Guide › Crafting

Potion Craft

Potions are your lifeblood in a protracted fight. They can heal you immediately or over a period of time. They can help you resist powerful elemental attacks, or they can act as another way to keep the enemy off balance with extra debilitating effects on top of all the damage you’re already doing.

There are three types of potions in Dragon Age: Inquisition: potions (health recovery and magic boost), tonics (enhanced resistances and combat), and grenades (throwable area-damage weapons that cause a variety of effects). Each potion within these categories can be upgraded multiple times to increase its efficacy, at the cost of many, many herbs.
