Tier 2 Kits

Like the Tier 1 Kits, the Tier 2 Kits are passive, requiring no interaction on behalf of the Pilot. Instead, these kits automatically enhance the Titan with a variety of tactical benefits. For best results, select a kit that complements the other selections in your Titan’s loadout.

Tier 2 Kit

Auto-Eject

The Auto-Eject system automatically ejects you as soon as your Titan is doomed. You will also cloak briefly on ejection, whether or not you have the Cloak ability as a Pilot.

Ability Unlock: Level 1

Field Notes

  • With the Auto-Eject equipped, you can fight and inflict as much damage as possible to enemy Titans or Pilots knowing that you will never die inside your Titan. You will always be ejected right as your Titan is doomed. Also, if you’re tired of getting killed in mid-air after you eject from your Titan, this kit is for you. You will briefly be cloaked upon ejection, giving you a small amount of time to find cover and retreat. You can also use the cloaking ability aggressively to stealthily take out enemy Pilots or rodeo attack a nearby enemy Titan.

Tier 2 Kit

Survivor

Your Titan will lose health at a slower rate when doomed, allowing you to fight longer before having to abandon the Titan.

Ability Unlock: Level 1

Field Notes

  • This Tier 2 Kit is excellent when you want to survive that little bit longer to doom an enemy Titan or pick off a few more minions or even possibly an enemy Pilot. Although Survivor will cause you to lose health at a slower rate when doomed, don’t forget to eject when the time is right. If you find yourself using Auto-Titan quite a bit, this is a good kit to equip so your Titan will kill a few more enemies.

Tier 2 Kit

Core Extender

The Core Extender allows any Titan’s Core Ability to remain active for an extended period of time.

Ability Unlock: Level 23

Field Notes

  • This will allow you to use your Shield Core, Dash Core, or Damage Core ability for a few extra seconds. This is most effective with the Atlas’ Damage Core or Stryder’s Dash Core abilities so you can dish out more damage or navigate around the map longer. The Ogre’s Shield Core, when used at the correct time, will get destroyed by enemies slow enough without needing to equip the Core Extender.

Tier 2 Kit

Core Accelerator

The Core Accelerator makes your Titan’s Core Ability charge more quickly.

Ability Unlock: Level 47

Field Notes

  • This allows you to receive your Shield Core, Dash Core, or Damage Core ability quicker. This is good to equip if you don’t find yourself hunting minions. Regardless of your success at scoring kills, your Core Ability will come online sooner.

Tier 2 Kit

Big Punch

Your Titan’s melee attack power is significantly increased, inflicting greater damage than normal, and knocking enemies back further.

Ability Unlock: Level 41

Field Notes

  • Big Punch gives you a good amount of extra damage for your Titan melee attacks. This is good to have if you are engaging in multiple close-quarter Titan battles. Having this equipped will literally give you the upper hand in these close-quarter duels.

Equip Big Punch when using the Ogre Titan to deal some serious damage with a punch.
