Tactics
- Just because you are in a Titan doesn’t mean you can’t park it in Auto-Titan for a bit. Once you have exited your Titan, get to the City Turret as fast as possible. This turret will apply some extra damage, making the enemy Titans easier to take out. If you don’t hack the turret first, have a few Titans quickly destroy the City Turret.
Pro Tip: Walshy A sound strategy is to play passive and hold down the Bay area. You must be really patient when using this strategy. Activate the turret near the Bay to apply secondary fire. The objective here is to use the drop ships for cover. Enemy Titans will have to step into the open to get a good point of attack in order to take you out. They will have no cover as they blindly run into the open Bay. |
- If you spawned at the Hotex at the start of the game, head towards the Bay. Then move towards the side of the Bay opposite the turret on the Bay. You’ll find a tunnel that is big enough for Titans to pass through. This tunnel can be used to pull off an incredible flank on the enemy team. This tunnel is an area you want to watch when playing passive and controlling the Bay.
- The Market Bridge will be a power position with a Titan. You have many options here. You have a clear view down towards the Hotex and Bay, which you can use to aid your teammates with a long-range primary weapon. You also have a path towards the Bar and Apartments to quickly rush over and help friendly Titans in the area. Don’t get caught here though. If you notice enemy Titans attacking from both the Bar and Apartments, pick one side and get out of the Market Bridge because you don’t want to get caught and trapped on the bridge between two enemy Titans.
- With a high presence of buildings on this map, you can use the buildings to sneak your Titan around and initiate a surprise attack or sit behind a building and wait for an enemy Titan to cross your path. Also, with all the buildings, you’ll want to keep an eye out for lingering enemy Pilots looking to rodeo attack you. Stay near a friendly Titan as they are able to shoot the enemy Pilot off your back.
