Now that you know how all the Pilot weapons, abilities, and kits function, it’s time to put it all together. Your ability to customize your Pilot is largely determined by your progression—the more you level up, the more customization options are available. By the time you’ve reached level 38, you should have access to most weapons, abilities, and kits, allowing for deeper and more specialized loadouts. Here we take a look at some sample loadouts. While you may find some of these loadouts beneficial, feel free to tailor them to your own specific needs. These loadouts should only serve as a starting point, provided to inspire your own Pilot configurations.
Specialized Loadouts
What’s your role? These loadouts give you some options to think about when customizing your Pilot. Do you want to rush the enemy and engage at close range? Or perhaps you’d rather skirt around the perimeter of the map and pick off enemies with stealth and precision. Here’s a few loadouts capable of filling specific roles on your team. Feel free to tweak and further customize them to match your style of play.
Attacker
This is a great go-to loadout for any game mode where you want to take the fight to the enemy with speed and aggression. The R-101C Carbine is arguably the most versatile primary weapon in the game, making it a true contender in any firefight, regardless of range. Add an Extended Magazine to minimize reloads, allowing you to easily wipe out a squad of Grunts and a couple of enemy Pilots with one magazine. The Power Cell Tier 1 Kit decreases the recharge time for the Stim ability, providing more frequent speed boosts and health regeneration—if you take fire, activate Stim to evade and heal. Using this loadout, kill minions and enemy Pilots to decrease your Titan’s build time. Then when it’s time for Titanfall, the Warpfall Transmitter Tier 2 Kit speeds up the process—try to drop your Titan on top of an enemy Titan for a humiliating Titanfall kill.

When playing Hardpoint or Capture the Flag, sometimes it’s best to stay put and defend an objective, particularly in close matches. Most flags and Hardpoints are located inside buildings where you can dominate close-range battles using the R-97 Compact SMG equipped with the Scatterfire mod. This weapon configuration may not be accurate, but at close range it doesn’t matter—chew through your opponents with the weapon’s intense high rate of fire. The RE-45 Autopistol (and even Sidewinder) can serve as good backups when your R-97 runs out of ammo. When you’re not patrolling the objective, strategically place Arc Mines on ceilings or walls near the most common entry points. Once your Titan is ready, deploy it outside and put it on Guard or Follow mode. The Guardian Chip helps your Titan engage incoming threats more efficiently while the Active Radar Pulse ability allows you to intercept approaching enemy minions and Pilots.
Hacker
This is a good loadout if you’re looking to hack turrets and Spectres with your Data Knife. Use the Stim ability and the Enhanced Parkour Kit to rush toward turrets early in the round. Once hacked, place Arc Mines near the console to prevent enemy Pilots from tampering with your turret. The “Icepick” Tier 2 Kit allows you to quickly hack enemy Spectres and turrets, making you less vulnerable during the hacking process. Start the round by hacking turrets, then rush enemy Spectres—most enemy Spectres arrive when your team deploys Titans. Gaining control of turrets and Spectres gives your team a significant advantage—plus you’re credited with any kills they get, reducing your Titan’s build time. Having your own personal army of Spectres following you around the map is never a bad thing either.
Rodeo Champion
Primary WeaponSpitfire LMG![]() LIGHT MACHINE GUN
Anti-Titan WeaponCharge Rifle![]() LONG CHARGE PRECISION BEAMSidearmB3 Wingman![]() HIGH-POWERED REVOLVER Tactical AbilityCloak |
If you like rodeo attacking enemy Titans, this is the loadout for you. When equipped with the Slammer mod, the Spitfire LMG is the most effective primary weapon during rodeo attacks, completely depleting a Titan’s health within a few seconds. But don’t let the enemy Titan see you coming. Use the Cloak ability to mask your movements, then daze the enemy Titan with an Arc Grenade before hopping aboard. While recovering from the Arc Grenade, the enemy Titan is vulnerable, buying you just enough time to perform a successful rodeo attack. The Charge Rifle is also effective when performing rodeo attacks—one charged shot may be enough to take out a damaged Titan. But the Spitfire LMG is without a doubt the fastest way to drop a Titan at full strength—you don’t even have to reload. Even once you get your Titan, consider putting it on Follow mode to serve as a distraction. When equipped with the Guardian Chip, your unoccupied Titan is more effective at engaging targets—rodeo an enemy Titan while your own Titan helps dish out damage.
Sniper

Anti-Titan WeaponCharge Rifle![]() LONG CHARGE PRECISION BEAM SidearmRE-45 Autopistol![]() .45 CAL FULL-AUTO PISTOL Tactical AbilityCloak |
The Kraber-AP Sniper rifle is one of the most difficult primary weapons to master due to its slow rate of fire. But its one-shot kill capability makes it an enticing choice. The 4.5X Zoom Scope or AOG provide ample magnification for most maps, while the Stabilizer helps steady the rifle, making target acquisition much faster. But unless using the Suppressor mod, you’ll appear on the minimap each time you fire. Therefore move around the map, using Cloak to avoid detection and the RE-45 Autopistol to engage any close-range threats. If you find a position too good to move from, scatter a few Arc Mines behind you to neutralize enemy Pilots attempting to sneak up on you. In addition to your rifle, engage Titans at long range too, using the powerful Charge Rifle to score critical hits from a safe distance.
Silent Hunter
Primary WeaponHemlok BF-R![]() BURST-FIRE ASSAULT RIFLE
Anti-Titan WeaponCharge Rifle![]() LONG CHARGE PRECISION BEAM SidearmB3 Wingman![]() HIGH-POWERED REVOLVER Tactical AbilityCloak |
If you want to decrease the build time of your Titan, consider hunting enemy Grunts and Spectres with this loadout. The Hemlok BF-R’s burst fire is perfect for quickly dropping minions at close and intermediate ranges—you can wipe out entire squads with a few pulls of the trigger. Engage threats from windows and other elevated positions where you can remain concealed—avoid rooftops, as you’ll be silhouetted and easy to spot. The Suppressor mod keeps you off the minimap, preventing enemy Pilots from detecting you. Meanwhile, the Minion Detector Tier 2 Kit keeps the minimap updated with new minion contacts, allowing you to hunt down Grunts and Spectres as soon as they arrive. But don’t miss the chance to hunt down unsuspecting enemy Pilots too. The Cloak ability, your weapon’s Suppressor, and Stealth Tier 1 Kit give you a chance to get the jump on your prey, dropping them with a couple of bursts from the suppressed Hemlok BF-R or a precise headshot using the B3 Wingman.
Pro Loadouts
Pro gamers StrongSide, Flamesword, and Walshy offer a sneak peak at a few of their go-to loadouts. Feel fee to give them a shot or tweak them slightly to make them your own. Or better yet, meet the pros online and try to beat them with their own loadout!

Anti-Titan WeaponMag Launcher![]() FIRES MAGNETIC GRENADES SidearmRE-45 Autopistol![]() .45 CAL FULL-AUTO PISTOL Tactical AbilityCloak |
This is my go-to loadout. It is extremely versatile for all situations. I am able to stay hidden on the minimap with the Suppressor attached and I’m able to shoot at mid-long range distances with the HCOG attached. While I’m moving through a hallway, I’ll pull out my RE-45 Autopistol just in case I run into any enemy Pilots. I use Cloak so I am able to sneak close to a weak enemy Titan and rodeo attack the Titan to finish it off. The Arc Grenade equipped with the Explosives Pack allows you to bombard enemy Titans and deal massive damage while they are disoriented by the Arc Grenade. Lastly, attaching Minion Detector gives you a early look where all minions are located, allowing you to kill minions quicker.
Flamesword’s Minion Killer Loadout
One of my favorite loadouts is the C.A.R. SMG attached with the HCOG scope and Counterweight mod. I prefer this loadout for any game mode because its purpose is to quickly call down my Titan. The Minion Detector allows me to see where all the minions are on the map, and with the addition of the Run N Gun Kit I am able to sprint through minions as I lay down steel. This is primarily a Titan building loadout, so I always try to avoid long-distance fights with Pilots. Keep the fights close quarter since the SMG excels in this department. Stim is my preferred Tactical Ability and I like to save it for when I engage enemy Pilots or need extra speed to make a jump. Arc Grenades allow me to disorient enemy Titans or take out a squad of minions. Overall this is a great loadout that will play well for any game mode—its strong suit is Attrition.

My loadout has the G2A4 Rifle because I consider it to be the best mid-range weapon—I can pick off minions and Pilots with one headshot. When playing against good players that get the first shot on me, I find myself able to win a few of these battles by pulling off a headshot. I chose the HCOG because I feel that most of my fights are mid-close range and this scope’s zoom is perfect for these battles. With the Suppressor mod equipped, the weapon still kills with one shot to the head and three shots to the body and, most importantly, it keeps you hidden off the minimap. For my sidearm, I pick the B3 Wingman for its power. My Anti-Titan weapon, the Mag Launcher, is the perfect weapon coupled with three Arc Grenades due to the Explosives Pack. Just throw an Arc Grenade and unload a clip of your Mag Launcher. Repeat until the Titan is dead. For my Tactical Ability, I use the Active Radar Pulse and look at the high ground, where Pilots usually are, or for irregular minion movement like jumping to spot Pilots. For my Tier 2 Kit, I use the Minion Detector to find and kill more minions each game.
StrongSide’s Defensive Loadout
Primary WeaponEVA-8 Shotgun![]() SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN
Anti-Titan WeaponMag Launcher![]() FIRES MAGNETIC GRENADES SidearmRE-45 Autopistol![]() .45 CAL FULL-AUTO PISTOL Tactical AbilityCloak |
This is my close-quarter loadout when I’m trying to hold down a position or Hardpoint inside a building. I like to throw Arc Mines around a doorway or on the ceiling near an entryway. I am then free to watch any other entry points knowing the Arc Mines will kill any enemy that enters from that location. The Suppressor also keeps me hidden on the minimap, making it harder for the enemy to exactly locate me in the building. Adding Cloak to this loadout just makes you that much harder to kill. If you see an enemy Pilot approaching, activate Cloak to further assist your stealthiness.
Flamesword’s Mid-Range Loadout
With the G2A4 Rifle, I look to take down enemies from a distance and provide support fire for my allies. I enjoy attaching the HCOG scope with the Suppressor mod so I can remain off the minimap. The combination of Stim and the Enhanced Parkour Kit allow me to traverse the map freely. I always have an escape route ready when playing with this class, and the Stim ability comes up clutch when I engage enemies close up, providing a speed boost and health regeneration. For my Tier 2 Kit, I enjoy equipping the Guardian Chip so my Auto-Titan is more effective and I can still roam the map.
Walshy’s Long-Range Loadout
Primary WeaponLongbow DMR-Sniper![]() SEMI-AUTOMATIC SNIPER RIFLE
Anti-Titan WeaponMag Launcher![]() FIRES MAGNETIC GRENADES SidearmRE-45 Autopistol![]() .45 CAL FULL-AUTO PISTOL Tactical AbilityStim |
I use this loadout on open maps, such as Fracture and Lagoon, where I can position myself far from the action and catch Pilots away from cover. When sniping with the Longbow DMR-Sniper, I only go for the headshot when the opponent is staying up on a roof or is running on the ground. When the opponent is jumping or wall running, I go for the body shots. Even though I am sniping long-range, I still prefer the AOG scope with my lower default sensitivity. It feels easier for me to keep track of the enemies when they are jumping and most importantly is easier to land my shots. Even though there are sniper trails on the bullets, I use the Suppressor mod to keep my position concealed while I constantly use Stim to relocate after I get a kill or two. I have the RE-45 Autopistol as my sidearm because I feel it is the best close-range pistol. While using this loadout, I avoid all mid-range engagements with Pilots. I don’t actively seek out fights with Titans, but I have three Arc Grenades, thanks to the Explosives Pack, and the Mag Launcher just waiting to deal damage to Titans that come near me. Lastly, I use the Minion Detector Tier 2 Kit so I don’t have to leave my advantageous sniping positions to find minions.
