Capture the Flag

Tactics

  • Guarding the flag within the Gridion Garage will be best with a Titan. You can sit back behind the wall in the back of the Gridion Garage. From this position you have a great view to defend your flag and be able to crouch down behind the wall for cover.
  • When grabbing the flags from either base, you’ll want to head straight into a building with cover. As a Pilot, take advantage of the many wall runs and jumps you can use to get back to your base. As a Titan, you don’t want to get caught in the Colony between any buildings because you can get cut off by enemy Titans. Take the long route along the outside of the Colony and dash back quickly.
Pro Tip: Flamesword

When grabbing the flag from the Gridion Garage, use this wall run route to quickly make it back to your base. Have Stim on to quickly run out the front of the garage and begin wall running off the building attached to the Family House. Immediately jump to the building ahead of the Family House and then jump again to the Town Hall. After this you will jump to the QuickStop and then immediately double jump in the direction of your flag.

 

  • When defending the flag from the starting Militia spawn, go to the building behind the flag base and you’ll be able to look out a window directly at your flag. Stand back a bit in the window so you are not spotted. This position is a great defense against the enemy Pilots trying to sneak by and grab your flag.
  • No matter what side you’re on, getting to the top tower of Town Hall will always be useful. At this position you can see the entire map and call out to your team what you see the enemy doing. You can also easily stop enemy Pilot flag runners from the top of this tower with a sniper rifle.
