Tactics
- Most of the capture raidius at Hardpoint A can be easily seen through the grated floor on the upper level exposing your position easily to the enemy. In the back corner of Hardpoint A facing the IMC spawn is a well covered area to capture the objective which is tough to see from the upper level. While in this position you can peak around the corner seldomly or wait to see if Hardpoint A will be contested. Also periodcally check the stairway behind you so you are not killed by a flanker. Once captured use a Titan to defend this objective.
- At Hardpoint A a Titan can defend this objctive by simply positioning himself in the window facing the IMC spawn. Although a Titan cannot capture this objective a Titan can defend this objective extremely well. A Titan will be able to completely see the entire capture radius of Hardpoint A. As a Titan equip the Cluster Missile to make it easier to defend the objective.
- Hardpoint B has a huge capture radius and is accessible to Titans. This objective is a Titans playground. As a Pilot you’ll want to stay clear of this objective unless you’ll be aiding a friendly Titan. A position to aid a friendly Titan that works well for a Pilot is on the walkway of the upper level. At this position you’ll be able to lay down fire and back up behind cover to easily make an escape if an enemy Titan pursues you.
- When attacking Hardpoint B be sure to move in with multiple Titans. Getting caught in Hardpoint B alone in a Titan is asking to be destroyed.
- Hardpoint C will be controlled mostly by Pilots. A good position to capture this objective is behind the single generator placed opposite from the three generators. Here you can watch the ramp leading up to the objective. Keep an eye on your HUD. If your HUD changes from capturing to contesed you’ll know an enemy is approching from behind you. Use Cloak in this area to give yourself an advantage against an enemy Pilot.
- As always, once you have captured any Hardpoint it is better to place yourself in a position which overviews the capture radius of the Hardpoint. Positioning yourself inside the Hardpoint after you have captured it just allows your enemy to know your positioned somewhere near the objective. Always try to keep your enemy guessing your every move.
