Capture the Flag

Tactics

  • A solid flag route from the Kodai building is taking the flag through the Backyard. Drop your Titan behind the Kodai building and then move in to grab the flag. Once you have the flag, jump into your Titan and travel through the Backyard to avoid all the enemies that are sure to be in the center of the map.
  • When defending the flag near the Storage, the Red Star Restaurant rooftop is a great location to post up on. At this position you have cover due to the building’s design. While you’re able to defend your flag near the Storage you’re also able to apply pressure in the middle of the map and kill minions in the streets.
Pro Tip: StrongSide

When grabbing the flag by the Kodai building, take advantage of the quick wall run that leads you inside the Market. You will be exposed while jumping across the main street, but once in the Market you will be provided with cover to make your way out the back of the Market and back to your base near the Storage.

Once you have grabbed the flag near the Storage, take this exceptional wall run to make it into the Market. Once inside you can perform another wall run, leading you towards the Kodai building.

  • Players will want to gain control of the Market and Red Star Restaurant before pushing up to the objective near the Storage. Controlling these two points will force the opposing team to only attack you from one direction once you have them trapped in the back.
  • Titans always lead to an incredible defense. Be sure to kill the minions that converge towards the Courtyard to call a Titan quickly. Titans can be easily destroyed in Angel City, so keep a distance and try to draw in enemy Pilots or Titans when guarding your flag.
