Tactics
- Because this is such a open map, it is hard to do a flank with your Titan without being noticed and overrun by multiple enemy Titans. Instead, stick with your other teammates and move around as a pack.
- Don’t get caught with your team at the choke points: Dozer path or Tank path. It is easy for the enemy to damage you and hit their shots in this open area—you are just begging to get destroyed by a Cluster Missile.
- Before making a push to the enemy’s side of the map, first pick off the enemy turrets.
- When making a push at the enemy team, communicate with your team to focus your fire at one enemy Titan at a time. It is better to take down a Titan rather than having two enemy Titans with half health. Eliminating one Titan at a time allows you to take less damage to your team’s Titans and give you one less target to think about.
- If an enemy Pilot is on the ridge of the roof and you can’t hit him, ignore the Pilot by getting closer to the Tank Bay. When the Pilot leans over to shoot you, dash away from the Tank Bay and easily pick off the Pilot who is now out in the open on the roof.
- As Training Ground is a map with standoffs and setups, using a high-powered, long-distance weapon like the Plasma Railgun is ideal.
