Pro Tip: StrongSideWhen defending or attacking Hardpoint B with a Titan, be sure to equip Electric Smoke. This is a close-quarter area, encouraging enemy Pilots to rodeo attack you. The Electric Smoke not only gets them off your back, but blasts the entire area, killing anything nearby. This allows you to control Hardpoint B easier. |
Tactics
- Hardpoint A involves a lot of close-quarter combat. A Pilot who excels in this field will want to defend this area once the objective is captured. This objective doesn’t provide an angle to support allied Pilots going for Hardpoint B. When defending this area, a Pilot equipped with an EVA-8 Shotgun should control this objective for the majority of the game while teammates work to capture another point.
- The Main Lobby is the location of Hardpoint B. This area is accessible by Titans, but should be used with extreme caution. Near this objective are two windows. One is located in the Board Room facing the other window. Enemy Pilots can poke out of these windows to unload their Anti-Titan Weapons and Arc Grenades, causing massive damage on your Titan. Only move your Titan in this area when you want to cause a distraction, allowing friendly Pilots to sneak up on the enemies.
Pro Tip: StrongSideCloak is an incredible Tactical Ability for capturing Hardpoint B. This objective usually has a Titan nearby. Cloak will make you vanish right in front of an enemy Titan’s eyes, allowing you to move around freely while Cloak is activated. |
- The final Hardpoint is C and it is right behind Hardpoint B. This objective is located in the upper level of Quality Control. Above the terminal in the Hardpoint is a window connected with a zip line. When defending this objective, keep an eye on this window as you will catch many enemy Pilots zipping in.
- This map layout lets players pick and choose which two Hardpoints they want to control. Hardpoints B and C are favorites since they are so close to each other. Hardpoint B allows you to move in and out of the Main Lobby with a Titan that will assist in defending Hardpoint C as well. The Titan can kill any enemy Pilots jumping around or zip lining into Hardpoint C. Pilots are able to easily run from Hardpoint C to B and repel enemies going for Hardpoint B.
- Controlling Hardpoints A and C is a viable option as well, but requires great communication with the team. Players will want to watch each entrance of Hardpoint C and use teamwork to wipe out anyone who enters. Players guarding Hardpoint A should spread out past the skywalk, use the objective as an alarm and, once you see it is being stolen or contested, ambush the enemy Pilots.
- When the opponent keeps killing you or your teammates zip lining into Hardpoint C, use this jump and approach the objective from a different angle. Catch your opponent off guard and begin neutralizing the opponent’s objective.
