Pilot Hunter

Tactics

  • Minions are very important to find to reduce Titanfall build time. You’ll want to be the first to have a Titanfall so you can start picking off enemy Pilots quickly and get an early lead. Position your Pilot on the roof above the Roundabout to slay the many minions running around below.
  • Running on the ground, especially around the Roundabout, is not recommended. Enemy Pilots are sure to be on the rooftops waiting for you and your allies to blindly run out in the open so they can pick you off. Always have an object or wall near you, allowing you to gain momentum and escape death by maneuvering away.

Attaching a Suppressor to your primary weapon is a must when playing Pilot Hunter. Having the ability to hunt minions while staying off an enemy Pilot’s minimap is crucial. You don’t want to zone out when killing minions without a Suppressor because enemy Pilots will see you on their minimap and will move to your location. Stay stealthy and always have a Suppressor class for Pilot Hunter.
  • A Longbow-DMR Sniper with an AOG scope attached deals tons of damage. The map is designed with long halls and various lines of sight so that snipers can constantly be on the move. The reason for attaching the AOG scope is that it allows you to hit those medium-range battles since you will constantly be moving as opposed to setting up on a rooftop.
Pro Tip: Flamesword

Even though the Minion Detector is primarily used in Attrition to spot minions, it can be used effectively in Pilot Hunter. Have the Minion Detector attached to your Tier 1 Kit and keep an eye on your minimap. If you see your minions are vanishing quickly, odds are that an enemy Pilot is killing them. Move in this direction and take out the enemy.
  • An Ogre Titan will excel during this match. The extra health on the Titan allows it move around the Main Lobby, forcing enemy Pilots to either engage your Titan or run outside of the building in the open where your friendlies will be waiting for them. Be sure to equip Electric Smoke in this area as you are more prone to get rodeo attacked.
