Titanfall eGuide Maps Fracture

Hardpoint Domination

Tactics

  • Controlling Hardpoints B and C gives you the best odds to take the match since they are nearest each other. When you have a Titan keep moving back and forth from both points. Stay on defense around Hardpoint B more. Hardpoint C is easier to recapture with teammates because it is open to Titans. Don’t go on your own to capture Hardpoint C if you have a Titan. Wait for teammates because enemy Pilots could be on the rooftop or inside the Art Gallery, set up to hit you with Arc Grenades and Anti-Titan weapons.
Pro Tip: Flamesword

Inside of Hardpoint B is a corner that you can wall hang on that conceals your entire body, allowing you to safely capture or contest this objective while using the Enhanced Parkour Kit. You can also spot any enemies that run by as you are off the ground and looking down. Enemy Pilots almost never see you in this position.

  • When defending Hardpoint A, go to the roof and scan the perimeter towards the Broken Building and Hilltop. You are able to spot and pick off enemies charging from a distance. Use the railings and turret for cover if the enemies are dealing damage to you. You can also fall down into the building and bait the enemies in.
  • Hardpoint A has a small capturing radius. You want to be on the second floor when capturing this objective—a ledge provides you enough cover and enemies can only approach you from two locations. Periodically check both directions and this will be an easy capture. Placing Arc Mines around the doorway below also allows you to focus on defending the second floor.
  • Hardpoints A and B cannot be accessed by Titans. Take advantage of these points by staying inside and making the enemy Pilot exit the Titan to attack you.
  • Hardpoint C can be captured by a Titan, but leaves the Titan vulnerable to hit and runs. Some of the best weapons to attack a Titan with inside Hardpoint C are the Sidewinder, Mag Launcher, and Arc Grenades.
