Tactics
- At the beginning of this match it’s going to be a rush towards the Reactor Core. This will be a power position if controlled right. From inside the Reactor Core you’ll be able to move back and forth, assisting your teammates by the Sub Station and Loading Bay. Friendly Titans have the peace of mind to attack, knowing you’re there for immediate assistance. Although the Reactor Core can be a power position, it can also be a death trap if you are cornered inside the building with nowhere to escape. If you notice your team losing control, it may be best to move to another location.
Pro Tip: StrongSideIn this game mode, it is wise to have one Pilot on foot leaving a Titan on Auto-Titan. The Pilot can then push up with friendly Titans and use Arc Grenades to assist in battle by stunning the enemy Titans. Arc Grenades can make or break a Titan battle between the two teams. |
- If enemy Titans are gathering around the Reactor Core, this is the perfect chance to play as your Pilot and activate Auto-Titan. The Reactor Core has so many areas to poke out for a second to shoot the enemy and then retreat to safety. Be sure to have Cloak equipped as it makes it nearly impossible for enemy Titans to see you when you have Cloak activated. As a Pilot you can greatly help out your friendly Titans by throwing Arc Grenades at the enemy Titans. If the enemy Titans are bunched together, you can throw your Arc Grenade just right to hit them all and stun them for a bit. This will give your team the upper hand in the battle, dealing great damage while the enemy Titans are stunned.
- This map has some wide open areas to see across the map, which will allow you to take advantage of the Plasma Railgun. This weapon deals massive damage from long range, but you must be extremely accurate. This weapon works well when an enemy Titan is trying to peek shoot you from behind a building. Blast him with the Plasma Railgun as he peeks out to shoot you. With this weapon you can take down the enemy’s shield completely and initiate a charge once you have weakened the enemy team. Dealing damage and dropping the enemy’s shield will give your team the advantage before entering a close-range battle or initiating a charge.
