What You Can Find Here
When you want to reach the elementary school or the southwest corner of town, you’ll find yourself using the Fast Travel Flag here often. You will make two trips into the school during the main quest and visit the side yard frequently to recruit the Goth Kids. The Mutant Bacteria can also be found in the school basement; it’s a vile creature you need to defeat for the “Big Game Huntin’ with Jimbo” side quest. See the “Side Quests” chapter for more details.
On your first school assault in “Detention Sentence,” you must free Craig from the detention in the cafeteria. You’ll earn his friendship, and you can pick up the Poodlesaurus Rex Chinpokomon in the cafeteria hallway by shooting out the ceiling vent.
On your second school assault in “Attack the School,” you can score more friends and Chinpokomon. Look for the Donkeytron Chinpokomon in the kitchen when you first arrive, along with Chef’s Old PO Box Key in the adjoining cafeteria. You can befriend Bill and Fosse by defeating the enemies outside the boys’ bathroom, while Lemmiwinks is in the fifth grade classroom. Search for the Pterdaken Chinpokomon in the locker near the fortification.
Once you have the gnome dust, be sure to check out hollow log to the left of the school (near the "Warning" sign) and pick up the Witch Robes and Avalanche Awareness Patch.
You befriend the four Goth Kids—Henrietta, Michael, Pete, and Firkle—after you complete the “Nonconformist” main quest and speak to them behind the school.
