What You Can Find Here
The Lost Forest surrounds the South Park map. Basically, if you try to exit the town, you end up in the Lost Forest. If you turn around immediately, you’re back to your previous destination. If, however, you begin to wander in the woods, well, you get lost. Going right and left in the woods leads to an endless loop of forest scene after forest scene, randomly selected for your viewing pleasure.
When you want to exit the Lost Forest and head into town, keep going south. Eventually, you will leave the woods and end up on the farm. One more step south leads you to U-Stor-It.
In Day 3, you will need to find the Great Kingdom to the North: Canada. Once inside the Lost Forest (any location), keep going north. Eventually, you will run into the Canadian border. If you have your passport, you can pass through into Canada; otherwise, you’ll be turned away. See the Day 3 walkthrough chapter for more details.
Getting lost in the forest can lead to unexpected surprises, like running in circles and seeing the same bridge over and over again (bad) or running into Ferocious Wild Dogs (worse).
Want an even bigger surprise and the collection of the most social networking friends in the game? Try wandering in the following pattern: right, up, right, down, and right. You will stumble upon a dozen critters standing next to a decorated Christmas tree. These cuddly creatures are all smiles and only want to save your soul. If you accept the one true Lord as your personal savior and renounce all others as false idols, you’ll be cleansed and gain 12 new social networking friends: Beary, Rabbity, Skunky, Beavery, Mousey, Squirrely, Deery, Woodpeckery, Porcupiney, Foxy, Chickadee-y, and Raccoony. It’s a great deal, with only one small catch: The one true Lord is Satan, not Jesus. If you want to be all religious about it and refuse the offer, you’ll be friendless and can go find your own cross to martyr yourself on.
