Mongolian Beef

To gain the “Mongolian Beef” side quest, head to City Wok in Restaurant Row and speak with Mr. Kim inside.

Kim secretly detests Mongolian beef, and he’s only serving it because the Mongolians have him by the gonads—they conquered his restaurant and are forcing him to serve the vile stuff.

Go next door to the Tower of Peace and beat up the Mongolians’ children. Kim thinks if you can put a hurt on the young’uns, you can intimidate the Mongolians and force them out of town. Thaw out the Brocorri Chinpokomon in the snowbank outside if you want an extra collectable before heading inside.

Open up the Tower of Peace door with the key Mr. Kim provides and beat up the Mongolians on the first floor. Break out your multiple-opponent attacks to cause maximum havoc, and concentrate your attacks with your buddy’s to knock out enemies one by one, rather than chipping away at all of them and letting them all counterattack you.

After taking out the first set of guards, use your ranged weapon to shoot the pulley to the left and drop the ramp. Climb up to the balcony on the second floor.

Continue to the main arch on the second floor. Mongolians pour out of the walls to attack. Execute them just as you took out their first-floor compadres.

Look for the Lambtron Chinpokomon in the cage hanging off the ceiling on the right balcony. Shoot down the cage to add another collectable to your collection.

Climb the stairs to the third level and battle the last set of Mongolians. You should be well versed in making Mongolian beef out of them by now.

To reach the roof, you need to solve the door puzzle. Two dragon tails seal the door, and you have to slide them out of the way to proceed.

Head to the balcony on the right and shoot down a segment of the missing dragon tail.

Plug in the missing dragon tail segment and shoot the glowing red eye on the dragon head above.

Quickly shoot the glowing red eye on the dragon head to the right before the timer runs out.

Use the stairs behind the dragon door to reach the roof.

The Mongolian Horde is pissed that you’ve been knocking off their kids, and all of them meet you on the rooftop. They have a lot of health, so continue to whack them with your big attack and down snacks to keep your health high enough to survive.

You’re treated to a massive fireworks display after your victory over the Mongolian Horde. Pick up a Health Potion (Small) and a Genghis Khan flair item from their bodies.

Return to Mr. Kim. He’s thankful for your help against the Mongolians and rewards you with the Miniature Gong, which allows you to summon Mr. Kim once per day to perform his traditional war dance, which ends with you winning the combat.
