Description: Butters is a paladin, a noble warrior of pure heart and mind. His holy power can smite the wicked and heal the wounded. And when his skills as a paladin aren’t enough, he also has the power of his alter-ego, Professor Chaos. Outside of combat, Butters can be commanded to heal injured allies.
Unlocked: Day 1, Kupa Keep, “Call the Banners” quest
Specialization: Taunting to prevent damage to you and combat healing
Command Ability: Heal certain allies to complete quest objectives
Melee Tactics: As a Born Victim, Butters is the perfect punching bag to your Perfect Attacks. You generally want enemies going after your buddy more than you ’cause you should be able to out-damage your buddy in a fight. If you can’t, you might want to forget ass kicker for the moment and work toward pastry chef. Against armored targets, Butters can break out the Hammer of Justice and bust the skull of a single melee foe.
Ranged Tactics: Butters hammers foes, not with the blunt end of a weapon, but by sizzling an entire row with Hammer of Storm’s lightning. Think front row versus back row when you use this ability. You may want to sear the front-row foes for damage, or you may want to save the blast for the back-row opponents that threaten you with ranged attacks or annoying special abilities. Most of the time, aim for the row that has the most adversaries.
Multiple-Opponents Tactics: Spin the wheel of destruction in the guise of Professor Chaos. However, being an evil genius ain’t all it’s cracked out to be. You’ve got to rain down lightning and channel life-draining beams and let loose with chaos blasts all in the name of devastation. It’s all perfectly respectable, though, if you can turn your opponents’ asses to ash.
