South Park: The Stick of Truth Guide › Buddies & Bastards

Buddies: Jimmy

Best Combat Quotes

“Here’s a little ditty that’ll make your pants shitty.”

“So apparently the plague’s going around. Have you seen this? You heard about this? Yeah, I hear it’s spread by rats and by the Wizard King’s m-m-m-mom.”

“That all you g-got?”

“Do you like the taste of salted pork rump in your m-mouth.”

“All the world’s a stage, and it’s time you got the hook.”

Description: Jimmy is a bard—a master musician and entertainer who can bring boons to his allies and curses to his foes. Outside of battle, Jimmy can be commanded to open special access shortcuts.

Unlocked: Day 2, Elven Kingdom, before “Attack the School” quest

Specialization: Buffs and debuffs

Command Ability: Access handicapped areas

Melee Tactics: Jimmy’s not your guy for fisticuffs. He might be able to whap somebody over the head; it just won’t do much damage. He’s much better with a crossbow or keeping your opponents down than beating them up.

Ranged Tactics: If you count weakening your opponent’s knees or putting them to sleep as an “attack,” then Jimmy is more able than kids twice his size with half his disabilities. Slim down your foes with Jimmy’s Song of Buffness or rock out to a Power Chord and absorb more PP to roll out your abilities longer—Jimmy operates best on his crutches, safely away from the clutching and grabbing.

Multiple-Opponents Tactics: Jimmy’s sleep-inducing Lullabye is a nightmare for your opponents and a dream come true for you. When enemies take a snooze, they can’t attack you and you can unload freely on them. Wake up to the potential of this powerhouse.

Lullabye

Jimmy sings enemies to sleep, preventing them from taking turns until they take damage or wake up naturally.

Brown Note

Playing the dreaded brown note will loosen the bowels of all who hear it.

Lullabye Notes

Nap time for your enemies is a beautiful, peaceful sight. There’s nothing better than watching foes’ eyes flutter and each of them conk out—and all you have to do is walk up and clobber them. But it’s not as easy as singing a note or two—you have to press the matching buttons as they stream across your musical bar. Don’t doze while Jimmy’s crooning or he’ll be singing the blues
