DowntownPrerequisites: Complete “Concertpocalypse”
Now that all the factions are united, Floyd proposes a moral-building (and territory-stealing) exercise: replace Fizzco flags in each district with “United Factions” flags of his design. This is a four-part Quest, with three flag-plantings to perform in each district. It starts in downtown. You can take these on in any order, but they’re listed here west to east.
At each flag station, there will usually be a Fizzco defense force present already. You’ll want to destroy or evade that force so you can melee the base of the Fizzco flag. This begins the 30-second process of swapping the Fizzco flag for Floyd’s United Factions flag. If Fizzco forces can get to the base of the flag, they can interrupt this process, so you’ll have to defend the flag swap once you initiate it.
At the second flagpole rooftop, you’ll find that the flagpole precipice is miniscule. Too small to make a moving stand up there, so set a Pulse Mine up there and then grind the edge of the lower floor.
The last flagpole rooftop in Downtown has a Rifle Bot patrol on top of it already. Alternate between grinding the roof’s ledge and bouncing off the exhaust fans in order to thwart their Fizzbot Rifle shots.
