Little TokyoPrerequisites: Complete “Big Trouble in Little Tokyo”
Stanley is holed up at Golden Age Comics (found just south of Troop Bushido’s hideout) and wants you to collect some mint issues he lent out. He promises to reward you handsomely. The first issue he wants retrieved, he lent to his buddy Jason, who is now an OD. Frankly, probably everyone he lent his comics to is now an OD, but Stan’s less concerned about his friends than about his comics. You’ll find the first issue on poor old Jason just west, at the first street intersection past Golden Age Comics.
Stanley’s ex-girlfriend Trina is the next lendee on the list. She can be found atop a nearby hotel. Her remains can be found, anyway. The important thing is that Stan’s comic is near her body, so scoop it up and get ready for the next assignment. Hopefully these issues are all in nice Mylar sleeves or something.
Stanley had lent an issue to a smelly guy named Terry, who apparently joined the Scabs in the apocalypse. A better fate than becoming an OD, probably, but soon to be cut short, since you need to get Stan’s comic back from Terry. Head to a Scab-infested rooftop and clear them out until Terry shows up from a service door on the roof. He’ll be easy to spot—there will be a comic book floating above his head. End Terry’s life of crime and pick up the comic.
Next on Stanley’s list is Mike, a construction worker and comic geek. Or at least that’s what he was; who knows what he is now. Stan thinks Mike will be found around the same place as Buck National’s second challenge, not far from Troop Bushido’s place.
When you find Mike, you’ll see he’s been an OD for a long time indeed: he’s a Herker, with a bunch of OD attending to him. He also has Stan’s comic, so you’ll have to put Mike out of his misery. There are plenty of grind spots here to give you an easy vantage point from which to bombard Herker Mike and his OD friends with weapons that nail the lot of them, like TNTeddy and Freeze Bomb.
Stan wasn’t very discriminating with his lending, was he? What Stanley can remember about the next guy is that he was probably a roofer, and he liked a particular coffee shop. Great memory, Stan. In any case, this guy can be found on a rooftop not far from the comic shop itself. The poor guy ended up as a Blower, so get up on the roof then blast him and take the final comic. The trip back to Golden Age Comics is literally a stone’s throw away, so go collect your reward: the first two pieces of a superhero costume. It was all worth it. Be ready to fend off one last Attack just before you turn in the Quest; Stanley could’ve mentioned that, probably.
