As a member of a Chaos Squad, you’re out to keep your allies safe, your enemies scared, your Overcharge vats right the hell where they are, and yourself entertained, no matter the cost.
Up to eight players can participate in a Chaos Squad via Xbox Live. Each round consists of several consecutive missions set in a specific district of Sunset City, ending in a final all-out night defense at Floyd’s local hideout.
Playing Chaos Squad is the only way to unlock many cosmetic items and upgraded Amps, as well as the powerful ProPain Launcher. You can also earn plenty of cash, Overcharge, weapon XP, and Badges while you’re participating, which you can take back into the main game.
A round of Chaos Squad begins when you use one of the photo booths found throughout Sunset City to sign up. Once a game’s found, you and your new running buddies will be taken from your current location to the place where your first mission begins.
You take your current arsenal, Amps, and Overdrives with you into Chaos Squad, and can earn weapon XP and Badges, just as if you were playing by yourself. In fact, if you’re looking to earn cash or Overcharge towards a new purchase to help you get through the single-player campaign, a few rounds of Chaos Squad are just the thing.
