HarborPrerequisites: Complete “The Warlock’s Red Gaze”
The Fargarthian reports yet more wretched Crimson Eyes to dispel in the south. As you set out to find them, Sam will chime in with information you likely already gleaned from the last Quest: the “eyes” are Fizzco control modules. They’re beyond Sam’s hacking capabilities, but he has managed to upload a frequency to your hero’s phone that allows the decoding of the Fizzie-like inner monologue of each controller. This not only helps you home in on their locations, which are sometimes fairly devious, but also helps you more fully appreciate the quotidian struggle of a Fizzco controller module.
Unlike the first Quest of this kind, during this one you can destroy the controllers in any order. They’re listed here in a counter-clockwise order starting from Fargarthia, heading west first to collect this controller on a boat. Fall from above with a dive bomb to destroy it.
The second controller is in an industrial yard in south Harbor. This mechanized area is patrolled by Fizzco Bots, so be on guard for their precise electric gunplay. This controller can be tricky to find; it’s tucked away on the side of a shipping crate. If you climb on top of the structure in the search area and tag the Fizzco sign there, you’ll get a perfect view of this module’s location. Once you go behind the shipping containers and destroy the controller, several more Fizzco Bots will drop in to protest this wanton destruction of Fizzco property.
This industrial yard is under heavy Scab control, including several Scab Tossers. This can be a bit of a problem, since the controller here is atop a crane structure in the center of the yard. Vault up the exhaust fans on the side to get on top of the crane catwalk. Then go bash the controller quickly, before Scabs can blanket you with gunfire and proximity mines from every side.
This controller is another of the hiding-in-plain-sight variety, since it’s simply stuck to the top of a shipping truck located here. There are many Scabs looming in this area, but they won’t be able to stop you from swooping in and dive bombing this module.
The final Crimson Eye for this Quest is very sneakily hidden, on the side of a ledge facing outward on the raised train platform. Grind the train’s main blue rail right past the controller and swipe it with a grinding melee swing to smash it. Once this and all other modules for this Quest are destroyed, the Quest will end automatically.
