1-4: Amptastic!

Old Factory District

Floyd’s ready to get some Amps cooking, but he needs your help with night defense. It has to be night because the Sun’s UV rays interfere with the process during the day. While the Amps cook overnight, the bubbling Overcharge is sure to lure tons of OD onto the brewery grounds. They’ll overwhelm the barricades Floyd set up and steal all the Overcharge from the Vat if you don’t keep them at bay. For now, you’ll just have to use your guns, but later on you’ll be able to manually set down Traps where you’d like in order to bolster defense. For this stand, Floyd’s set up some traps of his own. When you’re ready to try night defense, turn the valve in front of Floyd.

Outlast the OD onslaught and you’ll earn some fantastic new Amps, which you should equip right away. Bounce-Splosion turns your bounces themselves into explosive weapons at Style level 3. At Style level 2, Fired! adds a fireball toss to melee swings, and Bear Force One gives your kills from a particular weapon a chance to spawn teddy bear explosives.

Rewards

Completing “Amptastic!” opens up two optional tasks, called Quests: one is “Brewery Upgrade,” which allows you to strengthen the Vats in Old Factory District, and the other is “Breaking Booze.” The first six Challenges are also available: Traversal Challenges #1-3, Bomb Delivery #1, Points Challenge #1, and Smash Fizzco Stuff #1. Challenges can be selected directly from the menu, which takes you straight to their location.
