Little TokyoPrerequisites: Complete “Find 4Kim”
This Quest can be undertaken starting at Hepcat’s Diner as soon as Floyd is prepared for Little Tokyo’s Night Defense. Floyd needs some spare refrigerator parts to upgrade the Vats. Completing this Quest before Night Defense has a direct effect on making it easier since the margin for error is increased. Upgrading the Vats in every district also unlocks an Achievement. Floyd will give you the fridge locations one at a time. The first one is found southwest, at docks in Little Tokyo’s lower west side.
This location is regularly brimming with both OD and Scabs. Along the south side of the building, you’ll find the fridge propped up against a wall, with the Freon coolant Floyd needs right inside.
The next fridge can be found at the mall in the center of town. It’s on the interior level, leaning inside a doorway, and is easy to miss if you’re expecting something that stands out.
You might think to look up high at this location at first, but you won’t find the fridge up there (though there is a High Point collectible at the top of this building). The fridge is found at the lowest point, left outside and surrounded by Scabs. Blast through the Scabs then break open the fridge and snag the third bit of coolant.
The last area is in northeast Little Tokyo and is positively saturated with Fizzco agents. The fridge itself can be found out back behind a building next to a dumpster, with Fizzco Bots nearby. With a weapon like Murderang or Shocker in hand, zap your way through the Bots to claim the last fridge coolant component. With all four in hand, return to Floyd to complete the Quest.
