Old Factory DistrictPrerequisites: Complete “A New Friend”
The Oxfords lost their swanky backpacks when the city went Overcharge-crazy. Lucky for them, they had the forethought to GPS-chip their backpacks, which are surely brimming with crucial survival gear. Even luckier, now here you are to play lost and found. The general location of all five backpacks will appear on your map. You can collect them in any order. Three of the backpacks can merely be picked up with no fuss (unless you count the thousands of OD swarming the college campus a “fuss”).
Two backpacks require a little more work. One of them seems to be sitting unclaimed in a parking lot, but when you try to snatch it, a looting Scab runs by and claims it for himself. You’ll have to chase the Scab and kill him and his friends to claim the bag. After a little chase, he’ll end up running into an alley just slightly south of the parking lot in which you first find the bag. Feed the Scabs some lead and reclaim the unusually-heavy backpack, which contains a foot spa.
Finally, the backpack farthest to the south has already been claimed by another survivor taking refuge in a junkyard garage. Clear out the OD infestation in the junkyard and he’ll give up the reeking backpack, which contains lots of Fuse body spray cans, including their hit “Midnight Jungle Cat Panther” scent. Return to the Oxford NPC at Sasquatch and Friends after all backpacks have been collected.
