This wide valley lies north of Tri-Stone and offers plenty of room to roam. Death’s menacing steed, Despair, may be summoned here to hasten explorations.

Nest of Evil

Death gets his first glimpse of Corruption here in Stonefather’s Vale. A giant nest of the sickening substance blocks the north trail, which leads to the Tree of Life. Clearing this won’t be easy.

Vale Valuables

Two items of worth can be found in the vale. Ride west to discover a Boatman Coin near the west gate, and explore the vale’s north tip to locate an ancient page from the Book of the Dead. Both items are of value to a merchant who you’ll soon meet.

Beware: collecting the Book of the Dead page from Stonefather’s Vale causes a trio of vicious Prowlers to appear. These savage creatures are agile and often avoid Death’s combos, so attack in short bursts and Evade often to keep them from flanking you.

When you’ve finished exploring Stonefather’s Vale, follow the east trail to a cave that leads into the mountains.
