Darksiders II Guide › Walkthrough › Court of Bones II: Judicator

Boss Battle: Bone Giant

A monstrous Bone Giant materializes in the room’s center after the hanging Skeleton has been destroyed. The hulking brute stalks about with lethal intent, and then swipes twice with its razor-sharp claws when Death draws near. The Bone Giant can also lash out with its skull when Death remains at a distance, and occasionally stomps its massive feet to crush Death underfoot.

Evade in a circle around the Bone Giant, seeking to dodge its favored one-two combo. Deathgrip close to the monster after you dodge and unleash your most lethal combo to pile on the damage. This is the tomb’s final battle, so feel free to call upon Death’s Reaper Form if you wish.

Stonebite on High

After reducing the Bone Giant to dust, look up and blast the high Stonebite near the ceiling.

Recruiting the Judicator

Make the uneventful trip back to the Judicator and present the Dead Lord with the third and final soul. True to his word, the Judicator agrees to heed his master’s call. Surprisingly, the third and final Dead Lord, Basileus, also makes a brief appearance—he challenges Death to brave the Psychameron, a twisted labyrinth where the Horseman’s resolve will be put on trial yet again.

Last of the Loot

You haven’t forgotten about those two chests back near the Dungeon area’s pit, have you? After speaking with Basileus, make your way back to the Dungeon and use the west Summoning Circle to call forth Phariseer and the Judicator. Lead the Dead Lords down the northeast stairs, order Phariseer to trigger one of the two pressure plates, and have the Judicator activate the other. Now you can open the two chests down here.

Tip

After plundering the pit, fast travel back to the Eternal Throne and trade with Ostegoth before returning to the Gilded Arena, where Basileus has hinted that the entrance to the Psychameron can be found.
