Leveling Up

Death gains Experience Points (XP) by slaying enemies and completing quests. Amass enough XP to fill the meter above Death’s health bar and the Reaper will advance to the next level. Every time Death gains a level, he earns one Skill Point. These precious points can be spent at the Chronicle to enhance Death’s current skills, or to acquire entirely new ones.

Call up the Chronicle and cycle to the Skills tab to view Death’s twin talent trees: Harbinger and Necromancer. Highlight any skill for a detailed description, and choose which one you’d like to upgrade or unlock. Study the skill trees carefully and choose wisely because certain skills need to be unlocked before you can acquire others. You may put Skill Points into any skill that’s not grayed out.
