Death’s Attributes

Death’s Attributes

The Reaper’s might and battle prowess are determined by a number of important attributes. Many of these attribute scores increase as the Horseman levels up; others can only be increased by equipping gear that provides stat boosts. Call up the Chronicle to view Death’s attribute scores, and press the Attack button to cycle through his various stats.

Let’s review each of the Reaper’s attributes:

  • Health: The greater Death’s health, the more damage he can withstand.
  • Wrath: More Wrath means that Death can unleash more skills in quick succession.
  • Strength: This stat affects how much damage Death can inflict with his weapons. The higher his strength, the greater the damage.
  • Defense: This attribute helps to determine how much damage Death will suffer from physical attacks. The higher Death’s defense, the less damage he’ll sustain when struck.
  • Arcane: This stat affects how much damage Death can inflict with his Arcane attacks. Arcane attacks occur when Death unleashes his Reaper Form.
  • Resistance: This attribute helps to determine how much damage Death will suffer from magical and elemental attacks. The higher Death’s resistance, the less damage he’ll suffer from non-physical attacks.
  • Primary Weapon: This stat relates to how much damage Death can inflict with each strike from his scythes.
  • Secondary Weapon: This stat relates to how much damage Death can inflict with each blow from his current secondary weapon.
  • Primary Weapon Damage Per Second: This stat is an average value that shows how much damage Death will inflict per second with a weapon.
  • Critical Chance: This attribute shows the percentage chance that Death has to score a critical hit against his enemies. The default value is 3 percent.
  • Critical Damage: This stat shows the percentage multiplier that’s applied to Death’s normal damage when he scores a critical hit. The default value is 100 percent, meaning that Death will inflict double damage when critical hits are scored.
  • Health Regen: This attribute determines how much health Death will regenerate per second. Death does not regenerate health over time unless he equips an item that provides this benefit.
  • Wrath Regen: This stat determines how much Wrath Death will regenerate per second. Death does not regenerate Wrath over time unless he equips an item that provides this advantage.
  • Arcane Critical Chance: This attribute shows the percentage chance that Death has to score a critical hit against his enemies while unleashing Reaper Form. The default value is 3 percent.
  • Arcane Critical Damage: This stat shows the percentage multiplier that’s applied to Death’s normal damage when he scores a critical hit during the use of Reaper Form. The default value is 100 percent, meaning that Death will inflict double damage when Arcane critical hits are scored.
  • Execution Chance: This attribute determines the percentage chance that Death has to instantly execute his enemies. The default value is 10 percent, giving Death a one in ten chance to execute foes.
