Secret Chests
Treasure chests abound in Darksiders II, and most will automatically appear on your map as you near them. Several chests are cleverly hidden, however. The following table reveals these super-secret hoards.

| 2 | Lost Temple - Area 6: Sentinel Checkpoint | Defeat the encounter in five minutes or less. |
| 3 | Foundry - Area 17: Eastern Ruins | Destroy the pots on the balconies. |
| 4 | Gilded Arena - Area 14: Storage I | Destroy the three large gravestones, and the Skeletons that appear afterward, to reveal the chest. |
| 5 | Forge Lands (Overworld) - Fjord (East Keep) | Smash the four pots on the upper balcony. (Requires the Soul Splitter.) |
| 6 | Earth - Area 14: Noss Ambush 2 | Destroy the four mailboxes around the street between the subway entrance and the bridge. |
| 7 | Ivory Citadel - Area 4: South Courtyard | After obtaining the Voidwalker, activate the northern portal and the portal near the Shadowbomb pod. Toss a bomb through the portal to destroy the northern Corruption crystals. The chest then appears where the crystals stood. |
| 8 | Ivory Citadel - Area 7: East Tower Access | Smash the four pots behind the standing wall with the portal. |
| 9 | The Black Stone - Area 7: West Wing (Past) | Destroy all of the breakable objects in the vicinity of the south time travel portal. |
