Dominate Crush: This powerful Critical Art is as straightforward as it gets: Urien briefly builds up energy, then releases it in a ferocious blast. Anyone caught in this blast is subject to a follow-up autocombo. The blast hitbox is technically a projectile, and extends fully floor to ceiling, as well as about a quarter of the playing field away from Urien in both directions. It blasts everywhere around him, basically. When EX Gauge is filled, it’s easy to confirm into Dominate Crush via Chariot Tackles, whether in ground combos or juggles. Especially toward the end of rounds, with V-Gauge and EX Gauge both filled, all sorts of avenues open up for confirming into Dominate Crush. This can be done easily by confirming into one Aegis Reflector, meaning, if the combo to Critical Art doesn’t K.O. them, one more Aegis is ready to go for a winning play.

With six startup frames, plenty of active frames, and plenty of invulnerability to match, this can also be used as severely damaging anti-air–Urien’s best anti-air by far, actually, when available. It also works as the ultimate reversal. That’s a pretty costly gamble, especially when EX Dangerous Headbutt provides risky invulnerability for one-third the cost. Still, sometimes it can just feel certain that the opponent is going to do something.
