Culminated Power: Necalli slams the ground with a double hammerfist, causing a damaging eruption beneath the enemy. You can control the eruption point by modifying with either or . causes an eruption close to Necalli, causes one about a half-screen away, and causes one that’s almost full screen (but not quite).

Culminated Power is designed as Necalli’s zoning and stamina-chipping tool. It gives him much more stage presence since it can be a threat at most distances. However, like a projectile special move, its recovery can be severe if it misses or if the opponent jumps in over it. Additionally, it rewards you with 150 valuable V-Gauge points (1/2 of a stock) on hit.

The Calling: Necalli lets out a scream, knocking down the enemy on a successful hit. Since this is a knockdown V-Reversal, it’s only -2 on block, which is generally safe from reprisal. The Calling’s knockdown effect can be useful in turning the tides of a match if you’re under heavy pressure. After The Calling connects, Necalli can dash forward and end up with +9 knockdown advantage against a quick-rising opponent. However, Necalli’s V-Trigger is literally so transformative that you will probably want to hoard all V-Gauge to activate it as soon as possible.

Torrent of Power: This three-bar V-Trigger transforms Necalli with immense power for the rest of the round. All of his attacks deal more damage, his walk speeds are increased by 10 percent, and his dash distance is increased by 30 percent. Its power lies in the fact that its duration is indefinite, so if you manage to build a full three bars early on in the round, Torrent of Power becomes a huge boon to your damage potential. Note that without the V-Gauge bonuses from Crush Counters and Culminated Power, you need to take about 75 percent stamina damage to earn three stocks of V-Gauge.

Additionally, The Disc’s Guidance does not require any charge when canceled from a normal attack. For instance, you can play a footsie game (walking back and forth) and then whiff-punish with an immediate crouching MP The Disc’s Guidance.
