Tsumujigari: Karin twirls forward with a kick that must be guarded standing. Tsumujigari is her fastest-hitting overhead option at 22 frames, beating out Ressenha or jump-ins by a meaningful margin. Karin’s excellent crouching
heavily incentivizes opponents to preemptively enter defensive crouch, so Tsumujigari can be essentially free damage at times. But Karin is left at -4 when guarded, so keep in mind the risk when deciding to go for it. It’s best to keep it in your back pocket as a surprise option against a low-stamina, crouch-blocking adversary, closing out the round. While it has airborne frames and will go over many low-profile attacks, it’s not explicitly a low crush; some low-hitting moves with larger hitboxes (like many sweeps) can catch Karin’s non-striking leg just before she actually attacks.
