Dirty Bomber: Balrog lifts up the challenger and smacks him down to the ground with a punching slam. A forward dash performed just after Dirty Bomber recovery leaves Balrog at +6 against a foe quick-rising, about a character-length away.
Throws are naturally good options after a single blocked poke up close, like standing
or
. Throws also represent one branch from the KKB mix-up tree. If the opponent is preoccupied with looking for Buffalo Swing or Buffalo Pressure, simply doing KKB without an attack puts Balrog in position to normal throw.

Dirty Shot: Balrog grabs the opponent, hauls them around behind him, swapping sides, then floors them with a walloping hook punch. This leaves Balrog closer to the floored foe than after forward-aimed Dirty Bomber, but without as much initiative to dash in. Back-throwing into immediate forward dash as the opponent quick rises leaves Balrog at a punishable -5. If the opponent wakes up with any relatively quick attack, he or she will nail Balrog. Dirty Shot’s best use is for the side-swapping aspect, allowing Balrog to turn the tables on foes who corner him.
