Street Fighter V eGuide Fighters Chun-Li

Overview

Pros
  • Dominating hitboxes (usually extending past her hurtbox) on many of her medium and heavy attacks make her an extremely oppressive aggressor from mid range.
  • Her powerful V-Trigger requires only two stocks of V-Gauge, lasts 20 seconds, and allows combos from overhead.
  • She has a serviceable projectile, especially from mid range.
  • A plethora of anti-airs as well as an invincible reversal special (with EX Gauge) cover one of her weaknesses from prequel SF games.
  • She has a new dive kick-like attack with Air Hyakuretsukyaku.
  • EX Hyakuretsukyaku is safe on block.
Cons
  • Optimal combos take more technical prowess to use than most other characters’ combos.
  • Many unique attacks involve a directional input a button; this can be difficult to manage (you might accidentally input when you actually want standing , for instance).
  • Kikoken requires a relatively high amount of charge time.
  • Her V-Skill can be difficult to use properly, especially as an anti-air.

Her gameplay is a mixed bag of decent zoning capabilities, a commanding mid-range game, and a strong up-close offense.

  • Closing in using advancing attacks such as crouching and
