When you defeat Dr. Neo Cortex in the second and third games, you earn the Speed Shoes. These let you run faster—simply run and press another button. In the third game, you can also unlock special abilities as you defeat the other bosses.
Defeat Tiny Tiger for the Super Charged Body Slam. This is like the Belly Flop. Jump and press the Action button to drop with more destructive power.
After you defeat Dingodile, you earn the Double Jump. To perform this, jump into the air, then press Jump again to go higher and farther.
Defeat Dr. Nefarious Tropy for the Death Tornado. Press the Attack button rhythmically to keep Crash spinning around in a tornado. This is great for defeating several enemies in succession. If you’re jumping when you begin a Death Tornado, Crash spins and glides, allowing you to travel farther during a jump.
You gain the Fruit Bazooka after beating Dr. Nitrus Gin. Use one button to aim and the Action button to fire the bazooka. This gives Crash a ranged attack.
