Orient Express

Rewards: Clear Gem—destroy all 51 boxes.

Tiger, tiger, burning bright… This is your first chance in Warped to play Coco—and she’s riding a tiger! Move Coco forward until she jumps onto Pura, the tiger. Make Pura go faster by holding Crouch.

Ride Pura through the first two boxes, breaking them, and then hop over the pit. Bust open the next two boxes, steering clear of the upcoming pit on the right, then another one yawning on your left. Go around the loaded wheelbarrow to the right.

After breaking the next box, you see two enemies lifting bricks. You can’t eliminate them, so make your way carefully past them to reach three more boxes to break. Jump over the pit, careful to position your jump to hit the box floating in mid-air directly over the pit.

The path slopes up, and a barrel rolls down at you from the right, then from the left. Dodge them and avoid the loaded wheelbarrow to the right side of the path, at the top of the slope. As if you don’t face enough danger, a dragon moves across the path. Jump the tiger right over it and run into the next three boxes to reveal a checkpoint.

Continue until you approach a covered area. Head underneath the roof to break the boxes inside. Avoid the ramp to the right, or you’ll miss these boxes! Ride on, run into another box, and jump another dragon. Skirt the pit to the left of the path, then jump over yet another dragon. Who knew they traveled in herds?

Break the box, avoid the pit, then jump up to hit the box you see floating in mid-air. Stay to the left to avoid the brick-lifter and to break another box. Bust open the next four boxes, and you reach an area with a pit to the right and a loaded wheelbarrow to the left. Hop over the pit and move to the left side of the path to avoid another wheelbarrow. Be ready to jump over another dragon, and move left to avoid yet another yawning pit. Advance up the slope and break the next box, revealing a checkpoint.

After the checkpoint, break the next four boxes. Ignore the dragon, as it shouldn’t be in your way unless you jump just for fun. Jump over the next pit and duck under another dragon. When you see another covered area (this time with boxes on top), jump over the pit, landing on the ramp to reach the top of the covered area. Break the three boxes and then drop back down.

Ride into the next two boxes, stay to the left to avoid the guy lifting bricks, and quickly jump over the dragon. Be careful not to jump needlessly afterward to avoid the next dragon. Head right to avoid a pit on the left. Bust the four boxes you see and claim the crystal behind them. After collecting your crystal, break the next two boxes and jump over the pit, keeping to the left side of the path to avoid another loaded wheelbarrow.

Duck under the next dragon and break the two boxes nearby, revealing a checkpoint. Jump over yet another dragon and stay to the left to avoid an incoming barrel. Look out for an enemy spinning a staff. Avoid him by heading right, then go left to avoid a wheelbarrow. Go right to avoid two more interlopers, running into the next two boxes to reach another covered area.

Because the boxes you want to break are underneath this time, carefully position your jump over the pit to avoid landing on the ramp and getting bounced up top. After you land, ride into the three boxes and then break the last box outside the covered area. Jump over the next pit, but plan your landing for the left side of the path to avoid the staff-wielding enemy. Make your way past him, and the loaded wheelbarrow, to jump the next pit and avoid yet another wheelbarrow.

Jump over the pit and land on the left side of the path, avoiding the next pit. With this accomplished, Coco dismounts. Complete the level by walking into the warp.

Time Trial

Time Requirements

Sapphire: 0:41:00

Gold: 0:27:80

Platinum: 0:18:10

The key to getting a good time here is holding the Crouch button to make Pura go faster. Another important component (as always with time trials) is breaking as many time boxes as you can. When you come to the covered areas, there’s always a time box either above or underneath, and the last two covered areas contain boxes that freeze time for three seconds!
