Coco gets her turn to face down a boss! As you might guess, Coco isn’t on her own two feet, but instead mans a vehicle. This vehicle operates just like the airplane she flew previously (except there’s no barrel roll).
N. Gin faces you in his advanced mech. This contraption has five points you need to damage: the guns on both of his arms, the glowing yellow spot on his belly, and both shoulder rockets. Begin by concentrating your fire on his stomach, since it’s always exposed.
The same cannot be said for his guns and shoulder rockets, as you can only attack these spots when N. Gin uses them to open fire on you. In addition to hitting his vulnerable spots, you can shoot the rockets out of the air when he fires at you. Once you destroy any of the vulnerable spots, N. Gin can no longer attack you with that spot. Once you destroy all five spots, you face his second form.
This form has seven spots for you to damage. Two are floating weapons that accompany him, one on each side. Four spots are rocket pods, and the final spot is near his bottom half. When this opens, it fires a slow-moving rock at you. Destroy it before it reaches you. The floating weapons also use attacks that fire slow-moving energy balls. Avoid these, destroy the seven points, and earn the Fruit Bazooka ability.
