It’s time to get on your bike and ride! To claim the crystal here, you must finish the level in first place against the other racers on the road. To accelerate, press the Jump button; the Crouch and Spin buttons are the brakes. At least death isn’t an option here; fall into a pit or other obstacle, and you’re simply placed back on the road.
After starting the race, you find the first box in the left lane. Run it over, then keep to the yellow lines in the center of the road to hit two more boxes. Afterward, stay to the right and hit the arrows in the road for a speed boost and another box. Keep to the right to avoid the upcoming police car.
Once past the police car, enter the left lane and take the jump, breaking the box in mid-air. Stay left when you land to avoid another police car in the right lane. Be sure to run over the two boxes nearby in the left lane.
After passing that police car, head into the right lane to avoid yet another police car that blocks the left lane, and to get the box nearby. Return to the middle of the road to hit two jumps in a row, the first of which gives you two more boxes. Upon landing, stay in the left lane, breaking the two boxes and passing another police car in the right lane. Break another box, then immediately switch to the right lane to pass a police car blocking the left lane.
Continue in the right lane, taking the next speed boost to a big jump to reach the end of the level. If you got first place, you earn the crystal. If not, race again!

Platinum: 0:38:06
This level is less challenging than some of the other time trials. Run the race as if you’re trying your best to get first, and you should have no trouble claiming the sapphire. To earn the gold, make sure you hit all the speed boosts and as many time boxes as you can.
