As Manu continues to prepare you for the gymkhana, he has another event for you. This time it’s a drift trial through Harbor View. Ensure your car is tuned for drifting if you were racing previously. This route makes up part of the gymkhana, so learn it now and master it later.
Objective: Earn at least 20,000 Drift Score to win.
This course is fairly short, so you must get Drift Score whenever you can. During the first section, there are some quick turns at intersections where you can rack up some score early.
As you enter the circular tunnel, you can drift a couple times to build up score, as well as during a turn to the left at the exit. Then hit the gas and speed into the next leg.
Take a sharp left turn into a parking lot. Then drift around several turns inside the lot. Exit the parking lot and head back onto the streets for some quick turns where you can pick up more score.
After making a right turn onto a main street, drive across the grass to the right of the road right next to a police station and then return to the street. Follow the course back to the circular tunnel and get some more drifting laid down.
Exit the tunnel and drive straight ahead into the back parking lot of the strip mall. Hit the jump squarely so you maintain control upon landing and continue all the way to the finish line.
