This is the second part of Manu’s big run. He has you doing a drift trial along the route to get you acquainted with it.
Objective: Score 30,000 Drift Score to win this event.
This is actually a pretty tough run since there aren’t a lot of areas where you can get some high Drift Scores. From the start, accelerate and then drift around the first two turns. They are not very tight, but you can still get some score.
The turn to the left here is where you should drift with your best style. It’s followed by a turn to the right, so be ready for it so you don’t run into something. Now you have a fairly straight run. Try to drift around any bit of turn you can to rack up some more score.
This turn is tricky. You actually need to cut the turn short and go off-road before you get to the intersection. Hit the jump and then follow the course around to the left and back onto the road. However, you don’t always stay on the road. Watch the course as it takes you off to the sides to hit jumps as you drive under the freeway that passes overhead.
Get back onto the road and race to an extremely sharp right turn. Take it with speed and drift around it for some good points. Follow the course out to the dock area.
As you enter the docks, veer to the right to take a jump, then turn your way around the containers. This is a great place to boost your Drift Score. Finally, race out of the dock area to the finish line.
