If you thought a sprint with cops was intense, now try a circuit race where you must cover the same course twice. This race is through Apollo Heights in Franklin Terrace. You need a combination of speed and control with all the tight turns and cornering here. The Outlaw has invited a friend, so there are three of you in this challenge.
Objective: Run the circuit race against the Outlaw with the cops in hot pursuit.
Hit the gas and get going as fast as you can. You can speed around the first few turns. Use the wide streets in this area to your benefit.
This tight turn can be tough because it comes right after a turn in the opposite direction. Since you slowed down for this turn, the next few are easier to take. The police have set up a barricade at this intersection for your second lap, but it does not change your course.
Build up speed as you approach this 180-degree turn. Powerslide around it, staying as close to the inside as possible, then hit the gas as you exit.
While this looks like a couple of turns with a curve in the middle, drive it like a wide turn or you’ll either have to slow down or lose control. The more control you have when you come off this turn, the better you are set up for the next leg.
Put the pedal to the metal and even use nitrous when you get up to speed. Your opponents fly through this part and so must you!
These two turns can be taken at high speed and treated like a wider, longer turn. You also get the first cops at the end of the first lap. Maintain your speed and make another lap, then race from here to the finish line on your second lap.
